So I have the time available and agreed to drive someone to Pittsburgh for the day for their job. In return, they're paying for my day. So what to do?

I'll basically have from 9am-5pm to do whatever I want, starting near, let's say, the convention center.

What do y'all recommend for activities and lunch?

Are there any really large can't miss gun shops?

I really like museums and see there are Carnegie museums around town, are those any good? I really like military and aviation/air and space museums. Are there any of those?

Lunch: What do you recommend? I'm always on the lookout for great barbecue and I do not believe that it has to be found south of the Mason-Dixon line.

I'll be going out to dinner that night around town with the person I'm driving. And dinner recommendations?

Thanks!

Near the convention center, I say just hang out in the strip district. Lots of good food down there.

Not too many replies so I just did the tourist stuff. Carnegie Art and Natural History museums and Primanti's for lunch.
