We are starting a new 2-Gun championship series at New Holland Rifle and Pistol club. This will be are great series and we are working on an all PA prize table for the end of the year.

Check out the NHRPC site for more details as well as the downloadable rule book.

There is also a Facebook page that we will keep updated as well.

Here is a quick blurb about what to expect.

The NHRPC 2-Gun Championship Series is a series of events
where shooters earn point toward an overall

Championship via their results
in each match. The 2-Gun concept is a bit of a blend of 3-Gun, USPSA and

IDPA. If you want to run a
carbine and pistol fast with some occasional longer shots these events will be

for you. You will encounter a
mix of "run and gun”, unconventional shooting positions, memory stages and scenario
stages. The series will be approximately 75% rifle 25% pistol

We will have 5 matches this
year. Each one counting toward the championship!

2014 Match Dates Are:

3/22

5/24

7/26

8/23

10/25

Equipment needed:

Semi-auto rifle 5.45x39 or
larger (not larger than .308 Win)

Semi-auto pistol 9mm or larger

Sling

Secure strong side holster

3 rifle mags

3 pistol mags

Chamber flag (for sale at
club)

Eye and Ear protection

Ammo

Check out the rule book and
come join us for our first match in March

This is great!  I'm so proud of the Club for putting on this kind of event.  We will certainly promote it at our LRGC matches.  Thanks for stepping up Kerry!

Good luck with your program.

We are looking at a couple of options for pre-reg, if we go that route the info will be posted in early Feb -

we are mostly looking to do it to smooth out the sign up process on the day of the match.

The series rule book has been updated to address are few question and some very bad grammar.

Not bit changes but some clarifications worth the read before the series starts in march.

Thanks

Shooters – Based on the level of interest in this series we
are going to have to set up a preregistration system and limit the number of
shooters at each event to 60.  This is to
ensure that we are able to put on a quality event for each match in the series.
2 weeks prior to each event we will post a link to the signup page; this page
will automatically close the registration when we reach 60 shooters.  After the first match the shooters who are
competing for championship points will be given first opportunity to register
before the link goes public (make sure your email address is correct in the
registration form). This is first and foremost a Championship Series and we
want to ensure that those who are competing for the championship are able to
compete.  While preregistration was not
our original intent, with the about of interest the series has gathered it is
the only way we can ensure quality events.

Thanks –

Shooters – It was a tough decision, but based on the current
condition of our ranges and the forecast for significant snow on Monday we are
going to have to push our March match to our back up date of April 26th.
I know this is an inconvenience however the weather just has not cooperated
with us so far this year, and the range conditions simply will not support a
safe movement heavy match.  The sign up
link for the new date will be posted at 10:00am on April 12th. In
the mean time we have some more exciting sponsor news for the series that will
be announcing in the next few days.

Shooters - Based on some excellent feedback from our RO training class this weekend, there have been some minor changes to the rule book. They are predominately safety related (1.e. finger violations) However there is one change to the division capacity to for pistols in the IRONS division. I put all of the changes in BOLD so a quick read should get you familiar with them. As always the rule book can be found at:

Thanks to all the shooters who came out today, especially those helping run the squads, everyone one that showed up early and stayed late.

This is an all volunteer sport and every bit of help is appreciated.

And a huge thanks to all of our sponsors Rebel Arms, Geissele Automatics, Lehigh Defense and Stand Ready Tactical

It was a good day on the range. Here are the scores:
