I had only met him a few times but he was always an upbeat and pleasant gentleman. So very sad to hear this news.

Damn, I didn't know him other than through postings here for as long as I can remember. He seemed like a good guy, and did quite a bit for the community up there. Sounds like he will be missed by many.

I've talked to him at the SAR shows several times.  He was only a year older than I am, far too young to leave us.  RIP Ralph.

I haven't had an abundance of online forum time lately and hadn't been here on the hometown forum in a while so I just found this out, and I'm really very upset by it

I never met the fellow but I always enjoyed his posts. He seemed to be a genuinely laid back and likeable guy. Sorry I'm late to the thread but may you rest in peace good sir.

I only met him once at a HTF shoot up in Chino Valley.  He was very friendly and we shot each others guns, though his were a lot cooler than mine.
