It looks like the barn door has finally been left open. The first storm tomorrow night shouldn't be to bad, but Saturday's could clobber us and then another biggie Monday night into Tuesday. Fortunately They're spread out, but it looks like winter has finally arrived.

Not in Prescott, but that weather is going to be nasty... And I am driving to Pine/Strawberry in it Thursday night, then Friday morning back through Payson then 260 all the way to Show Low then Greer till Sunday!  It is going to be a fun drive!

Yikes, I'll make sure to have my car ready before my trip to Yuma next week.

Yep!
Firewood is stacked deep, I don't need it for heat but I like it for atmosphere when it's snowing...
Got food and drink, not much else needed for me.
I live right next to Prescott Lakes so I can walk to Fry's if I need anything.
I don't think it's gonna be as bad as the forecast is laying it out to be.

I hope it isn't so bad either. Last Christmas Eve it finally became obvious to me that 89A going east toward Glassford is uphill. I never really noticed until I was driving on the ice. Speedo said I was going 30MPH but looking out the window told me it was more like 5MPH!

THIS TIME I've got about 250 lbs of sand in the truck bed!

I fly into PHX on Friday and take the shuttle up to PV. My timing is impeccable
Oh well, I'll get to see how my Taco TRD-offroad truck does in the snow.

Well, I am ready.  I have sized up my neighbors to see which ones I may need to eat.  I have my two ravenous dogs for intruders.

I have enough ammo to take out everyone in town.

Silver dollar sized flakes here too. Even lost my satellite signal. I had to go clear the dish off with a broom. And me in my bathrobe and slippers is a sight you DO NOT want to see...

My dad sent a picture from Pine, it is sticking there too as of an hour ago or so.. snowed this am, then turned to rain, now back to giant fluffy flakes.

Well, terrific. I guess I shouldn't complain, but now I've got a mess of sandbags in the bed of my truck. I only got maybe 2 inches here. I still had to shovel the driveway because it's on the north side of the house and has a grade. Not shoveling = ice for days.
