Anyone here using it?

If so, how is it?
The potential is to cut our cell bills in half.

Thanks,

Im not a fan of cell phones, but recognize the utility so I pay $30 a month for a Walmart phone. Works fine, Ive never noticed it not having service somewhere I  expected it to.
When this 4 year old phone finally bites the dust, Ill pony up for the more "smart" of the walmart $30 phones.
Im not some old codger either.

Look into ting.com.  They are a pay what you use and less hassle then pay as you go like with the wal-mart and other prepaid style options.  Especially if you don't have a big need for much data.  It allows you to also use your current phone if so desired, coverage on both CDMA (Sprint/Verizon use this) and GSM networks.
