This shoot will be in memory of freebear

Bring your NFA if you can, I'd like to have something to start things with in Ralph's memory.

Less than 3 weeks!

May I suggest a 12ft 'lane' between tailgates and the firing line?
This allows walking of the line without having to pass in front of muzzles........
hopefully MANY MANY muzzles!

I was at the spot yesterday afternoon with harleyfx69. The place is still in great shape.

Still finding fragments of freebears's TP 40mm rounds out in the impact area

Just an FYI, weather outlook shows a 60% chance of rain almost all day Friday, 90% ALL day & night Saturday, and 80% on Sunday. Combine that with a 10 MPH wind and near freezing temps it will be interesting. Be prepared.

You going to join us in the fun I take it?

If I've learned anything from living here, is that I should take it with a grain of salt with the weather on an extended forecast as most times it's never happens or arrives sooner than the prediction. However with that said, I'll be there for the four seasons should it happen.

Looks like rain into snow now.. and 80%.  The camp is at about the same elevation as Prescott(5200-5400)... both higher than Chino Valley(4600).

I am still trying to go as well, but we all need to be prepared for rain, snow, and mud.

Change number #87 in progress. Thread bump for update in the OP to move the dates to the last weekend of this month because the weather is going to be miserable and the forecast for the 24 and 25 are much more desirable.

Ok, some buddies and I are planning on being there.  We all knew Ralph and plan on doing some mag/belt dumps in his honor!  Here is a list of what we are bringing along with a list of ammo if you want to bring extra to run through the weapons.

WW2 Russian DP28 with RP46 beltfed Conversion
WW1 Lewis Gun
M16
HK51
Russian RPD
WW2 Bren Gun
FN-D Bar
WW2 Grease Gun with suppressor
1919A4
Mini Uzi
Several handguns and suppressors

Anyone is welcome to shoot any of the guns (all are C&R and/or transferable)  Ammo to bring:  Russian 7.62X54R, .303 British, .223, 7.62X39 (FMJ for the RPD), .308, 9MM, .45 ACP.

Is anyone planning on cooking dinner there, before the campfire?

Do you know where the location is?

No clue if there will be cooking or everyone for themselves.

I'll ask Rich_V Junior is he's coming and if he does, I'll ask if he's bringing his grill again.

I can bring the gas grill. This is a smallish grill so don't expect to cook a ton of food at one time.
I'll bring my Desert Eagle in 44mag, if you want to shoot it bring factory 240grain jacketed bullets. It doesn't like lighter loads.

I will also bring the 'pay it forward' goody box from the last shoot. Bring a goody take a goody.

Forecast is 52/31 and clear for Saturday.

No moon.
I'm planning on spending the night.

I'll invite Boris from Desert Eagle Guns.
He's a great guy with lots of Cool Toys!!!!!!
Could be he will bring his PKM!

Yep, I've been to many of these shoots so I'm good on location.  Was just debating on whether to bring up a small grill for brauts or not...

Do you have a mount for the 1919A4? I have an MG42 tripod set up with an adapter for my 1919A4 (semi) that I can bring. Complete with periscope sight and remote trigger. Would be excellent for a fullauto 1919.

Eric is bringing the 1919 and I am assuming he has a mount.  You can bring the MG3 mount if you like.. they are excellent mounts with the optics!  We hope to get out to the site between 9:30 and 10:00.  Were we planning on doing any competitions again?  I have some steel and bowling pins to add to any course of fire.
