Bring Sigchef with you on the way in, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to get stuck this time
This shoot will be in memory of freebear
Bring your NFA if you can, I'd like to have something to start things with in Ralph's memory. |
I have never been to one of these and really hope to go this time.

I was planning on attending the Spring Big Sandy. This might be better.
RIP. |

Less than 3 weeks!
May I suggest a 12ft 'lane' between tailgates and the firing line? This allows walking of the line without having to pass in front of muzzles........ hopefully MANY MANY muzzles! |
I was at the spot yesterday afternoon with harleyfx69. The place is still in great shape.
Still finding fragments of freebears's TP 40mm rounds out in the impact area |

Haven't been around the forums for awhile. Wow. Sad news.
Anyone planning on camping out? This may be the proper first shoot to attend. |

Just an FYI, weather outlook shows a 60% chance of rain almost all day Friday, 90% ALL day & night Saturday, and 80% on Sunday. Combine that with a 10 MPH wind and near freezing temps it will be interesting. Be prepared.

View Quote If I've learned anything from living here, is that I should take it with a grain of salt with the weather on an extended forecast as most times it's never happens or arrives sooner than the prediction. However with that said, I'll be there for the four seasons should it happen. |

Precipitation may not be too bad, I'm showing 20% Friday, 60% Saturday, & 40% Sunday.

The camp is at about the same elevation as Prescott(5200-5400)... both higher than Chino Valley(4600). I am still trying to go as well, but we all need to be prepared for rain, snow, and mud. |

Are we all in for this one or the next weekend of the 25th & 26th? |
We're doing this. I'll have a canopy to add to the collective.
Who else will meet me at Gabby's? I need to know. |
I am out.. i have a good reason though that came to fruition last Saturday at the AZ Strong Beer Festival. Going to Flagstaff to work on beer recipe details with a brewery. :-D

Change number #87 in progress. Thread bump for update in the OP to move the dates to the last weekend of this month because the weather is going to be miserable and the forecast for the 24 and 25 are much more desirable.
I am out as well. Thank you for the invite.
I will be missing the Spring Big Sandy shoot as well. |
Cory from P3DT will be there on Saturday. If you'd like to own one of the best AR500 target systems, give him a shout and ask to bring one for you to buy from him
Well......ok.......
So is ANYBODY planning on meeting up for burning some powder this weekend? |

I'll ask Rich_V Junior is he's coming and if he does, I'll ask if he's bringing his grill again. |

I can bring the gas grill. This is a smallish grill so don't expect to cook a ton of food at one time.
I'll bring my Desert Eagle in 44mag, if you want to shoot it bring factory 240grain jacketed bullets. It doesn't like lighter loads. I will also bring the 'pay it forward' goody box from the last shoot. Bring a goody take a goody. |
Forecast is 52/31 and clear for Saturday.
A bit chilly at night.......but dry! No moon. I'm planning on spending the night. I'll invite Boris from Desert Eagle Guns. He's a great guy with lots of Cool Toys!!!!!! Could be he will bring his PKM! |

FBArms Do you have a mount for the 1919A4? I have an MG42 tripod set up with an adapter for my 1919A4 (semi) that I can bring. Complete with periscope sight and remote trigger. Would be excellent for a fullauto 1919. http://image.sportsmansguide.com/adimgs/l/1/157752_ts.jpg View Quote Eric is bringing the 1919 and I am assuming he has a mount. You can bring the MG3 mount if you like.. they are excellent mounts with the optics! We hope to get out to the site between 9:30 and 10:00. Were we planning on doing any competitions again? I have some steel and bowling pins to add to any course of fire. |
