All,
This match is shaping up to be a real "shooters" match. Stages are designed around minimal reset down time and to be smooth running. We've added the common classes to open it up to guys that didn't want to play Trooper. Look forward to seeing you out there! |

KE arms will be providing a Machine Gun as a stage gun.
Now its a party |

Dumb question: have you guys ever had one of these events, and if so, approximately what time did it end? Like I said, dumb question, but I'm wondering if I could do this and even have a chance of making it home for fireworks. I used to always have to work early on the 5th, so taking my daughter to see them isn't something I was always able to do...

|
First at this location. The plan is to be finished by 1pm if not sooner. Thats fully finished, lunch, awards, et all.
|
|
Is this like the Rio matches in terms of rifle calibers only? I'd really like to run my Scorpion Evo 3 SBR but I want to work within the rules of the match.

I'm confident Glen and crew will run this program well though and if they say done by 1, it will be in that timeframe. |

We will be shooting out to 400yds. PCC is not the best choice, but is allowed. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I haven't done a match before, would this be ok for beginners?
I don't have a magnified optic, just an RDS/irons. |

Come out, make sure the RO's and your squad mom know you are new. They will help you along the way. I will strongly suggest making sure you have a good zero on the rifle, and are using the exact same ammo you zero'd with. Beyond that, no AP ammo (NO M855/ss109 allowed). |

Wrong, I guess you didn't see the part where I signed up. All joking aside, the AZ Arfcommers I met are not gear queers that look down their noses at you, nor laugh at your abilities. I know my rifles put together with half new/half used parts are hell to look at, but nobody has ever said a thing...in fact, I even have a rifle with Rizzo's old buttstock on it. Haha. I myself have never been to one of these matches, and you're going to have a heck of a time making a bigger ass of yourself than I am sure to. |

This type of match is the easiest to get into. Low entry skill required and you are guaranteed to have lots of fun. 5 years ago, this was my first rifle match and I shot it with irons. I had a blast and I would lay money on the fact you will too. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Are we doing the swap meet again? I need to go through some gear bins.

I would just tell people to bring stuff they no longer want for the optional swap meet at lunch. I don't have too much stuff as I'm looking through my bins, though. I will try to get a few things together. I didn't even participate in picking and the "leftovers" I got were awesome. Mag holder and a couple of other things. |
