My CC just got hit by Game and Fish. 'Merica!!!

I put in for unit 22, now just find out which week, since they split the hunt this year...

I put in for 13B as usual, so I will be chasing Coues deer again this fall and Muleys in Jan

Got hit yesterday. I put in for a couple units so only time will tell which one I am getting. Woo hoo!

ETA: Looks like I got hit for turkey, $50 for 2 tags. Hoping I get lucky and also get drawn for deer.

They're all over AZ. Some good places I have hunted them at are in 24A and 24B if you are close to Phx. Cream of the crop are the strip and kaibab

But there are strip and kaibab class deer in other places of AZ, just gotta look for em. Desert muleys are freaking awesome!

My card got hit today for deer tags. Not sure on the unit but all hunts we put in for start nov 1. Excited for my first big game hunt but the others in my group are experienced but rusty as they have not hunted in years. Hoping for unit 7

My card got hit but they haven't updated the results yet so I don't know if I got coues or mulie. I put in for units 36 A, B, and C.

I had the CFO check this week for me. She said there was a $45 hit from G$F. I only put in 2 choices. I'm either hunting mulie or WT in 23 in Dec.

Damn... no deer tag. Drawn for turkey, though. So at least I have an excuse to get out and camp for a week.

No deer, yet..... Going to pick up a leftover tag. I got Pheasant down in Yuma this yr. That should be fun

I feel as though I need a O/U shotgun for this, otherwise its not right

I was hoping for a mule deer tag in Unit 32, got my 2nd choice instead. Thought it was mule deer too but turns out it's for whitetail 11-27/ 12-6 same unit. I don't know how I manged that?

Guess I'll have to do some serious scouting, I know where the mulies are....

How good is the hunting for pheasant? Do they get pretty dense or are they spread out?

I honestly don't know. Imma contact the wildlife specialist and talk to them about land access and population numbers. Get an idea of what I am getting myself into here

If anyone needs help scouting deer and I can fit it into my schedule I would love to do so. I love just getting out and seeing wildlife.

I've never hunted that unit. However, the coues deer will be up high. Find the nastiest, tallest, most inconvenient mountain to climb and you should find some there.
