A friend of mine put in a good word for me at his workplace. So I had my interview last Wednesday, and now... I have a job! The pay is significantly better, patients are much kinder and of much higher quality. It's not behavioral health and the job also offers ample opportunities for upward advancement.

My friend has been working there for 5 months now, and he still loves working there. Looks like seperating from CBI was a good thing after all!

My wife is a retired RN. We both understand how soul-numbing a rough health-care job can be. Hence my fun with the congratulatory animations.

See there.....sometimes you have to be forced to get out of your own way for good things to happen. What seems like a step backwards is just a set-up for a leap forward.
