For our March 30 show on The Arms Room we will be discussing AZ firearms industry companies and talking about why everyone should buy local. Even though our show is heard internationally, we still want to highlight our own home state. This isn’t for resellers, ranges, or every small mom-and-pop gun company, it’s for companies who make original items related to the firearms industry.

Please help me complete this list – I know there are a lot I've missed!

Thanks everyone! I knew I overlooked some important ones, even some that I know personally and do business with - it's hard to remember everyone that is in AZ.

If anyone thinks of anymore, let me know!

Gun shops and such weren't added to the list, as that's not what we're trying to list, and besides there would just be too many.

Man, this thread makes me want to start a new build, using AZ only parts.

Here's a couple more.

Blue Rhino Targets

Strategic Armory Corps (Owns AWC Silencers, Surgeon Rifles, McMillan, Armalite)

Do it!

Hell, let's challenge all of the AZHTF to do it, if not done already.

Anyone game for that?

I am reviving this thread to add another company to the list that I recently discovered:

Shadow Valley Weapons

And, I am very interested in their compensator.  Does anyone know anything about it?

Here is the show - I'm sure we missed a few companies in AZ, but we got most of them as far as I can tell. Thank you to everyone here in the HTF that helped create the list!

Podcast: http://thearmsroomvom.podbean.com/e/arizona-based-companies-in-the-firearms-industry/

The list of AZ companies can be found here.

On next week's show we'll have a round table with Glen, Brian, Matt and Derek. They'll each have a few minutes to talk about some of the most debated topics on online forums: favorite knife, favorite optic, favorite piece of EDC gear, and go-to home defense firearm.
