[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for a real watchmaker, someone willing to replace parts

I need to find someone in town who will do what I want. Someone who can tear down a swiss movement and install a new cannon pinion, hour wheel and seconds wheel. The five I have contacted thus far wont touch it even though they claim to be horologists. Its simple to someone who is actually a horologist.

When he was alive Doc at the Watch-hospital in Yuma could fix or make anything. I believe his son runs it now and I have heard he's pretty good.

Give this guy a call. If he doesn't work on them, chances he will know someone that can/will.

Gemtime in Scottsdale fixed an old, old watch my Mom had, one of those little tiny wrist watches ladies loved way back when. Old guy working there, I forget his name, is the real deal.
