The damage is biblical (by Arizona standards).

Block walls blown down everywhere, every tree is down.

Traffic signals bent at 90 degrees.

Chimneys blown over.

Even the small bushes are ripped out of the ground.

It's open right now. Lots of work crews though.

Just about every block wall between Tatum & 40th st is blown over.

I live in this area. I was fortunate my house escaped any damage. My neighbors roof was not so lucky, a good portion is missing.

I truly thought I was going to lose all of my trees last night. Holy shit. and the lightning strikes were literally in our backyard... Scared the shit out of all of us.

I'm from AL and that looks like the equivalent to small tornado damage

My parent's house was smack in the middle of it. He calls bullshit on the "microburst". He's convinced it was a tornado. It stripped all the leaves off his trees, rose bushes, any plant matter. Leaves are all gone. Picked up a 500lb play set and flipped it over. Ripped off clay tiles. Beat paint off the house.

I've been hearing it compared to an upside down tornado. That explains all the walls blown into the yards from the street side.
