Thank you all for the replies. I've gone to the 2A store before and got some ridiculous story about how Cerakote flakes off and will not hold up well at all. After that they recommended Duracote and said it will hold up even better. And provide superior corrosion resistance. I've known the owner and he started the store with the goal of not being like most lgs's but he and his employees constantly ignore me and help their friends. I have had similar experiences with Ruffs and Preda over at Horizons has a terribly long wait for any kind of work to be done.
Rizzo thanks for the tip I will just have to check out X-werks. Maybe my wife and I can swing a drive down this weekend.

That is completely backwards on Duracoat vs. Cerakote. Duracoat is just a fancy paint job. In fact, if you want to use Duracoat or even Krylon rattle can then it's recommended that you apply Cerakote first so that you'll have a solid base to work from and then you can remove whatever paint you apply to be 'mission adaptable' and the Cerakote color will still be there. Cerakote is actually stronger than a lot of factory finishes, and the best choice for suppressors because it gets harder as it gets hotter.
If you want a shorter drive, I can highly recommend the guys at LRK Mechanical in Prescott. Prices are probably a bit cheaper, as well. X-Werks has done several firearms for me in the past, but they are pretty busy down there.
