Ok so I've been at it for quiet a while now actually but have not had any luck at all calling in any coyotes. I have a hand call but since it's been summer time I've mainly just been out scouting land. I've mainly stuck to the land between Prescott and wilhoit on Hw 89, but the terrain is really hilly and shrubby, been up iron springs aswell but only a couple times. I've been out towards Paulden twice and although I felt like the area was good, it's a ways away and I don't know if I'll have luck going back.. Should I try to stick to the more opened up areas or might I have luck in the woods as well?
Ive been out dozens of times but have yet to actually call one in, and it's beginning to wear down my drive.. I'm not expecting any secret spots to be revealed, just seeking some guidence as to which area I lights stick to in order to finally bag a yote..
Thanks

Good luck but I'm pretty sure rizzo just Jedi throat chokes all the coyotes up that way. I'm pretty sure when it comes to coyotes he just mind bullets them, and since he lives up there, I think they're all too scared to come out!

Hopefully he will come along and point you in the right direction. He's pretty much written the book on coyote hunting. Seriously, he wrote a book on coyote hunting.

Glen teaches a class on coyote hunting if you are interested in bagging em.

You are now good to go to use a suppressor and a 30 rd mag

No internet for a week makes that unfair! Been backpacking in the Rockies, and no service anywhere I went.

The area you mentioned has plenty of animals, Paulden is also good especially early in the season (now). Stick to thicker brush where the animals feel more secure, though right now you are mostly dealing with a grip of young, dumb animals. The farther south you go, the better the hunting generally is.

If you have some more specific questions, let me know.
