The gas station when I came out. Younger guy stepped out at the ready, scanning. I see a FN Tactical with a RMR in what looked liked a Bladetech. Boing! I nod and walk to my pump as the driver steps out. Full gear, matching gun and flip flops and I'm curious and lovin' it. Truck is packed to the hilt with high end gear. Both the rig and the dudes are grimy and stinky. I can't help myself and tell the rough looking hairy guy "Nice multicam." I know, herpa derpa, but how else do you compliment guys like us. He thanks me with some stink eye and words and I tell him that I have something will make him jealous and break out my spiffy multicam fanny pack I just got from a AZ member(Thanks). He drools on it for minute and we start talking. I ask where they are going as I am one of two people who even know what multcam is up here and this is some of what he told me.
Him and his buddy are part of a "Border Patrol Auxiliary" that has decided to stand up for our Country by working with various ABC groups and were down in Pecos Valley( I couldn't find it on the bing but doesn't mean it's not there, not my AO) working with "BLM Rangers(?, never heard of that but it's FS up here), the local Sheriffs Office and a few others. He implied something happened, "Shit got hairy" and DHS showed up on scene and escorted the group out via "Gun Ships" and they were heading to central New Mexico. He stated that the group was made up of LEO and .mil guys both current and retired and I thanked him as his buddy for their Service and mentioned my Father is retired LEO and he asked me to thank my Dad for his Service. He mentioned that what happened may be on the net or news by now if I was curious but I didn't find any thing yet. I offered them a discount on a hotel room at my work but they said funds were low and they were heading out.
I would of offered my pad to them for a shower and ruck but the XO proly' wouldn't of been thrilled if I showed up with two smelly guys with my Daughter around, etc. I can smell BS and gear queers from a mile away and these cats didn't fit the bill of nut jobs or douchers. Shook their hands again and thanked them again and told they had nice pistols. He started with the "Everyone should be..." rhetoric and I couldn't help but lift my shirt a bit and let him see the bottom of my new suppressor host and mag pouches. He winked and we parted our ways. Pretty cool dudes. Any one know what went down today? Do I have a drone watching me now(JK, Sorta')?He kinda' implied some sort of exchange took place. Very Curious. Seemed that way. These guys had very cool shit visible and HUGE deployment bags and Pelicans stacked like cord wood. No tellin' what was in the dual cab. Either very rich themselves or had some seriuos backers. I'm no tinhat but I wouldn't mind a piece of that action.

I know a few of these clowns, most are engineers of some type with to much money to spend so they have lots of shit. Most are / ware part of the minutemen group that was trying to build the fence of barbwire on the boarder. One guy I met at a engineering group meeting was bragging about using his night vision optic's to spot illegals at night and how he had all the best equipment for doing this. He is so happy to brag that he runs out to his truck and brings out a gen 1 optic at is almost 2' long. He claimed that HLS/BP ran them off with a helo, interfering with there operations.
