Sorry to say, but this will probably be a shorter, thus easier, list to maintain than the ones that do not. Glad to see Claimjumper on it cuz I like them.

azcentral had a piece where Chuys in Tempe and owner of Valle Luna were gun friendly.

Romeo's Euro Cafe in Gilbert did not have the sign on Wednesday

Signs posted or not, its not really a concern since you are carrying concealed. Nobody's going to know. I"ve been carrying concealed to bars and restaurants in Tucson since 1980 with no problems really except for being frisked once at the door of Bourbon Street back in the '80s. I simply was refused admittance and so went to TENs or TDs instead.
|
|
That's the ultimate irony. The only people it stops from carrying are those who are diligent about complying with the law.
The fact that persons with a CCW have been fingerprinted, have had a background check, hours of training, and are statistically an extremely low risk for criminal violence, makes concerns for having them carry in an establishment while not drinking crazy. They're not the folks one should be worried about, and if anything not having the signs is more of an asset to the safety of your patrons than a liability. In my mind a big no CCW sign that essentially says "No one in or coming to and from our establishment has a lawful means of defending themselves" is the liability. |

I simply was refused admittance and so went to TENs or TDs instead. The difference now is "knowingly" is no longer part of the law. They do not have to ask you to leave, they can just call the cops. As this is also now high profile, expect to see more active enforcement of the law. Also in posting the sign the restaurant is saying "we believe you should be in jail for 30 days and/or pay a $500 fine for having the ability to defend yourself here"...why do you want to give them your money? |
|
The more low progile we are the more the hype will go down. At some point someone in a restaurant that allows carry will stop a robbery or save someone in the parking lot and we'll be in good shape.

We went to Oliva's Mexican in Prescott Valley yesterday: No Signs.
And I think I put on about 10 pounds there as well. Great little hole in the wall place. Jay |
|
Just whatever you do don't call and ask the restraunts that might "remind" them to put up the signs...

Hi all
Went to Nando's in NE Mesa tonight for dinner. (S/S of McDowell just west of Power Rd) Wore my bolt face logo t-shirt. The manager Bob sat down and talked with us after recognizing the BFL. They are not going to post no weapons signs. I figure we might do our part in an adult way and mention when we are there we appreciate it. I had two beers, ergo no gun. I agree with the philosophy that someone else posted paraphrased, "let's talk to them about it" Still Learning |

Went to Charleston's on US60 and Stapley tonight. We asked the hostess if they had a no-guns sign, she said no they didn't. I said, "good, you get our money Fox and Hound doesn't"...she responded with "right on!"

Gentle Ben's DOES have the no ccw signs up. Now that's a bummer. Oh well, Off the list! Not supprised though, I expect a lot of misconceptions in the college area about drunken 21 year olds with guns based on media hysterics rather than facts. |

Tucson Pizza Hut. Golf Links and Harrison Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile At first I'm hesitant to list them as there are other Pizza Huts that that ban CCW and have the impression this attitude represents Pizza Hut as a whole. They have banned their drivers from CCW as featured in national news. That said, I'm not certain how these policies are related to individual franchises or enterprise wide policies. I'll go ahead and list that one for now to give the local franchise the benefit of the doubt. |

Red Devil @ Bell Road & 28th Street.........no sign talked with manager they have no problem with CCW on premise That was where I got my first ever job, 16 years ago now. I still know the owner, he went to my church when I was a kid. I would have been shocked if RD had posted. Glad to see they didn't, or I would have been making a pissed off phone call. |

ASRPA has a web page with restaurants that allow CCW and others that do not.

Nice list from Wilderness Tactical.
http://www.thewilderness.com/ccw-friendly-az-eateries Speaking of Wilderness, I have been using their products for years, hauling my pistols in their excellent Zip Slide holsters, on their awesome Instructors Belts. My wifes Glock 26 is carried in their Safepacker, which she loves. I have purchased 4 of their Giles Slings, one for the M-16A2 that I used daily on two tours to the sand and now resides on my Colt SP1, one I used stateside as an area supervisor or fire team leader carrying a GUU-5p, and will once again see duty when I have finished my clone of that weapon, a new one adorns my Stag M4gery, and the fouth was a gift to my father for his HK-91. Excellent 3 point slings, if you are looking for that kind of setup. Good folks making solid gear right here in AZ at a fair price, and truly rock steady supporters of the 2nd Amendment. |

Fogo de Chao on Scottsdale Rd was not posted.
The Comedy Spot in old Scottsdale was not posted. |
|
Arby's in Lake Havasu does. At least last time I was in there a dude was open carrying (a Sig? I didn't pay much attention.) I do know he was chatting with the cashier who seemed like a huge WOW nerd but education has to start somewhere.
I better read up on the law as I'm not sure if ignoring signs is the same as it was in KY... just trespassing if you refuse to leave IF you get caught. Otherwise I could probably compile a list for this podunk town. |
|
Talked with the owner of Cafe Laguna at 2235 S. Power Rd. in Mesa after seeing a Glock box on top of the tea dispenser. He is gun freindly and has no problems with legal carry.
And they have damn good fry bread too! |

I was at Dave&Busters last night and didn't see a sign anywhere (in Tempe Marketplace).

Will it still be a concealed weapon when you no longer need a permit? Will there still be penalty, when everyone can be carrying?

Quoted: Will it still be a concealed weapon when you no longer need a permit? Will there still be penalty, when everyone can be carrying? You can't carry in places that serve alcohol if you don't have the CCW permit. |
