Came across this FB group while seeing if the local chapter in Louisville was up to anything stupid. We don't have a John Brown Gun Club here in KY as far as I know but it looks like you have one in Ohio now.

https://www.facebook.com/cincyjohnbrowngunclub/?fref=pb&hc_location=profile_browser

For reference to the group, and why they are actually Antifa, here are a few videos.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CywFbSdMVx0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H58Voqb7jik

I've read reports from folks down in TX that Antifa folks have been coming to events armed with long guns and at various times actually point their weapons at low ready at "fascists". At the very least I've seen photos at events with very poor trigger discipline on their SKS rifles...

Stay safe out there. Cheers.

Ooh maybe they'll come around my way so they can be infiltrated and sabotaged.

Apparently they have a very high vetting process to make sure that doesn't happen. but it's possible. I have a friend who got into the Louisville chapter and says they are a joke over here.

If it's short of criminal and getting ink, I'm probably down.

Just need to know where they hang out and shoot.

I'm sure they're a joke, but let's keep it that way.

I'm sure that a lot of the people involved in their movement are simply lost and looking for a cause.  The movement as a whole makes me uncomfortable though.  I hope that your friend's assessment is right and I'm just being a nervous-Nelly.  It just seems like people fighting against what they see as evil (conservatism in their case) can justify some pretty horrific stuff for the "greater good..."

Looks kind of fake or false flag. Without the group officially taking ownership of that flier, it seems irresponsible to post it.

I'm curious as to where they are getting the guns and ammo.

The video of the one out west seems to be one or two guys bringing their guns out. There's been speculation if the majority of the weapons are actually airsoft, but recent activities in TX has several members saying they are real.

As for not claiming ownership, of course they wouldn't. They are an organization with little info on who the leadership is, where their HQ is, etc. Some members have been caught on video claiming they get paid $1500 per "protest" to go to, and their members have been seen in several events across various states (like the antifa guy who smashed a bike lock into a man's head). That is the biggest danger to the organization, like it is with BLM: they have anonymity, hide their faces, and when violence erupts you can't hold people accountable.

From the outside looking in I don't think that they really have "leadership," at least in the traditional sense anyway. It seems to be much like the global jihad movement in that respect. To me they appear to be more of a loose concept that like minded people can attach themselves to at any given time.  Strategically it's a good idea. It makes it hard for authorities to keep tabs on "them" because of the much looser affiliation with the group as a whole.

Eight years ago when the TEA Party started, there was no leadership, it was just like minded individuals taking various legal actions to promote freedom.  I remember the congressional leaders at the time wanted to meet with the TEA Party leaders and were astonished to learn there was no organized leadership.

The movement was pretty effective, look at the 2010 election results.

Came across this gem of a group today. Nothing but thug lifestyle it seems. Plenty of posts about violence against 3%ers, Trump supporters, etc.

https://www.facebook.com/419antifa/?hc_ref=NEWSFEED&fref=nf

Also check out their members, like this lovely citizen... https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100016698344946&fref=ufi&rc=p

No Facebook, what's special?

All I could see was a dumb pic of some girls fingernails and a gun (so scared?) And a garbage meme about conservatives.

The group and several of their members flash guns, cash, and "drugs" (hard to tell what they are, I worked as a pharmacy tech for 7 years in undergrad and grad school but the photo's make it hard to tell what they are showing) with other posts referencing "finding" Trump supporters, macing them, etc. All very vague and nothing as a direct threat to anyone in particular but it's probably the most violent rhetoric I have seen from the left in either Ohio or KY groups

Ooo mace? So scared (ok, we all know mace will make you cry like a bitch)...

Sounds like a good way to get shot.

Join The Brown Girls Project for our Brown Girls with Guns CCW Class. This is an Ohio Concealed Carry Class. It meets the Ohio training requirements necessary to obtain a Handgun Concealed Permit for Ohio, Florida and many other states.

Our goal is to join forces with the strongest links in our community, our black women, to educate them on gun laws and handling firearms. In these trying times we live in, we have to protect ourselves and our families by any means necessary.

This is a one-day course(8am-6pm) that starts in a classroom environment and moves to the shooting range for practice. The class will be instructed by Joe Porter of RideorDie513, a Certified NRA Pistol Instructor and Certified NRA Trainin..

The Second Amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear arms to all Americans regardless of socio-economic status, race, or politics.

Take your anti-gun stance elsewhere.

You'd be correct that everyone has the right, but that doesn't mean they should be exercising it. Just as the mentally retarded shouldn't be exercising free speech (they don't know what they're saying). I'd prefer that anti-American socialists, et al, refrain from the ownership of firearms, as most of these whackos probably aren't in the mental health state to properly use bodily hygiene, let alone own guns.

They wish to disarm us, and I hope they don't arm themselves.

I see them as a potentially very real enemy, who would literally attempt to kill me and mine. Of course I don't want them armed.

Can I do anything about it? Nope, freedom is scary. Would I support/vote for laws that restrict the first or second amendments? No, period.

PSA

Looks like Antifa is planning something big on November 4th. They're saying they will end "the nightmare" and "drive out" the Trump/Pence "regime". Lol.

Drive them out

Nov 4 This Nightmare Must End

The John Brown Gun Club is basically the firearms friendly branch of Antifa.

Armed Leftists Have a Range Day

and we know Antifa has been fond of using weapons during their "major" protests.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Louisville chapter
