if anyone still an active member that can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
I was long time member but had to quit due to my the wife's battle with cancer and then I had to go and have a heart attack a little over a year ago.. its been a rough few years..

They have made it now that you need a sponsor to join again.  I spoke to John Maple the "Pres" and he suggested reaching out on line.

Thanks

I would stop into the next member meeting on the 16th and reintroduce yourself.  Generally a good way to get some sponsorship opportunities.

I'm in the same boat right now. I went on active duty with the Guard for a year and was out of town, let my membership lapse.

I am thinking about switching to Briar Rabbit though, never been there but its about equidistant for me (Blacklick) and the yearly safety meetings at PCSI were getting old. 4 hrs of a Sunday every year being told not to be an idiot? No thanks, I do enough of that in the Army. It's 2017, put a video on the PCSI website you have to log in watch.

Is Briar Rabbit just a "show up and pay for a membership" kinda place? I've honestly never been.

Briar rabbit is a show up, sign 2 pieces of paper that say you understand how not to be an idiot and pay your dues.

If I was a little bit closer to Briar Rabbit I'd look at it. It is certainly longer.
