The goal is to provide a unique shooting and skills match that is fun, and safe. The SHC Top Shot Challenge is designed to be a challenge for all to participate, but also leveling the playing field so all competitors are on equal terms with the challenges they are faced with. All are welcome to participate!
The SHC Top Shot Challenge, will prove your skills with a number of different firearms, primitive weapons, and much more! Each stage design will incorporate challenges specific to the weapon systems used on that stage. Lever action rifles, revolvers, semi-automatic rifles, precision long-range rifles, semi-automatic pistols, primitive weapons, black powder, full automatic machine guns, moving vehicles shooting…. and some surprise weaponry, that few have ever used, are all being considered for this match!  Nothing is out of bounds!
All ammunition and firearms / equipment will be provided to the competitors. All a competitor will need to bring is eye and ear protection, which will be mandatory on all stages. Spectators will be welcome as well!

The Match Format:
10 preliminary stages will be shot on Friday and Saturday (5 each day).   5 final stages will be shot on Sunday by the top ten competitors to determine the winner of the SHC Top Shot Challenge.
All preliminary stages will have a possible 100 point value (some will also be timed for tie breaking purposes), with a possible match score of 1000 points. The final 5 stages will have special scoring yet to be determined, with possible shoot offs for final placement.
Mulligan Card:
Competitors will be provided with one “Mulligan Card”.   This card can be used if you “bomb” a stage.  It can also be used in case of firearm/equipment/ammunition malfunction.    It can only be used one time per competitor, and is not transferable between competitors.   If you do not use your Mulligan Card, you will get a special bonus at the end of the match.
Prize Table and Awards:
The Prize table and awards ceremony will take place Sunday, after the event finals.

This match is scheduled to take place Friday September 15th, through Sunday September 17th, 2017.


Match Fee:
Match fee for this match is $260.00 per/person.    <<<<<<----- this may seem high, but remember, THEY provide All ammunition and firearms for the match.

also, just a FYI, Chris Cerino from the TopShot TV show "MAY" be shooting in this... I invited him, and he said if he is feeling up to it, he wants to be there... "he is doing chemo right now"

Sounds interesting, but making it a 3 day match leaves a lot of guys out of it.

my issues is, its the same weekend as the 2nd ohio PRS match, so both of these should have some great prizes..... but i really want to do this one.
