Gun shows seem to be mostly dead anyway.

The internet has taken a toll on gun shows, but I think all the neck-bearding that started waaaaay back in 1989 with the first import ban is what's really done it. ATF hasn't had anything to do with it. From what I hear, Bill Goodman has done as much damage to the Bill Goodman shows as anything else, but I don't know that, it's just what I hear. |

I hit the show yesterday for laughs. Couldn't have hit anybody if you were swinging a dead cat by the tail. Upkeep outside the building looked rough, dealers complaining that the AC was not on, the usual.

Time marches on....
I have a LOT of great Hara memories. Went to a Goodmans for nostalgia in the last ten years or so, a lot more crowded than the ones out here, same people, same smells.... |

Today, a coworker told me the next show will be at the Montgomery County fairgrounds on the same date as the previously scheduled Hara event. He mans the county GOP booth, so I take his word as more than rumor.

Looks like they're planning on moving to the new fairgrounds when it opens in Hubrier Heights.
I didn't know the new fairgrounds location there was a done deal. |
