Following up on the previous message.

We are going to remain closed today 7/12/16 and re-open tomorrow.

We did have a burglary, and they did get away with some guns in the short time they were able to.

NO customer owned guns, repairs, transfers, consignments etc were taken
(They are all secured separately).  The only guns gone are inventory
items.

With the help of the guys from Columbus Division of Police
and our local ATF office, we have the serial numbers already out there
and in the system.

That said, there was one very distinctive gun
in the lot that was taken, a Glock 26 Gen 4 with a frame in Tiffany
Blue.    Its unusual, and they didnt get any of the accessories with it.
(we are trying to find a pic)

I am glad the customer owned guns were ok. I have a couple there for pickup.

It should be illegal to steal guns.

If you believe Herr Obama...if they went through all that work just to get some guns, imagine how much more work it would be to get some books or computers

Can you believe they ask for your home address when you apply for a library card? Talk about onerous, Jim Crowe laws.

I am going in there later today. I sounds like the thieves took the display guns in the cases.  Maybe a few off the walls.  Maybe around 10k wholesale at the most.

Didn't they just get smashed not too long ago?  I think I read about them getting hit around the time B&T did?

In that neighborhood, I'm surprised it's the first time happening.

A year or so ago, the front wall of the store was smashed in -- it looked like a car was used to attempt a robbery (or perhaps someone just had their car in the wrong gear when trying to leave their parking spot...)

Yes, it happened the same time as B&Ts break in. B&T fortified their front entrance because of it.

I was there earlier. The thieves didn't get much. Just a few guns by the door.  Most were still there.

It was around 20 years ago and the thieves came in through the ceiling. They've since upgraded their security measures and the Clinton TWP police dept. is just a couple blocks up the street.

You all must not of heard of the plague of gun store break ins around the Dayton area. Not small out of the way places either. ATF believes they have suspects in custody. There for a while I was checking gun stores more than anything else on patrol. A couple suspects were minors

There has been several burglaries or break in attempts at several local gun shops around the Central Ohio area in the last couple weeks. Something seems to amiss.
