Briar Rabbit doesn't have an official type Steel Challenge match. They just have knock down steel matches. Tried to convince the owner to have SC matches but no luck so far.

I don't know why there isn't many clubs doing the official matches. USPSA owns it now so all current USPSA members are now also SCSA members.

Does anyone know if Lorain County Rifle and Pistol is going to have Steel Challenge matches in 2015?
I am a former member and received an email from them last fall stating they were going to run a trial match in Oct 2014. ETA: I received another email stating the LRPC board is planning on having matches this year. I do not know if this is official Steel Challenge or just shooting steel plates like Fairfield Sportsman, which is still good fun. |
