People think there is some magical border between OH and PA. (Well, I mean, don't drink the water in PA.)
Bears are all over Ohio. I live by Meander reservoir on a feed water into it, I'm just waiting to see bear prints in the back 40. |

Going hiking tomorrow in Brecksville Reservation. Hopefully a 357 Magnum is sufficient for bears!

Bears won't hurt you. Not the kind we have here in Ohio and Michigan. My buddy and I ran across them all the time as 7th and 8th graders during our summers in Alpena, MI. We were armed with nothing more than 5.59mm Long Rifle or 4.5mm NATO BB. Don't mess with the babies -- not even Whitetails (we have a dozen in our neighborhood -- 44147).
