Anyone know who has ammo cans in the Cleveland area for a good price?

I went to Fin & bought a Blackhawk for $20, they only had the one but now I'm looking for some US surplus ones in good condition.

Thanks.

There is a guy at most of Dick Walters shows who has some pretty nice cans
.  A quick Google of Ohio guns shows should get you there.

I would try Whitey's Army Navy. They have a store in Berea and another in Medina.

Good idea, Whitey's in Berea is very close, I'll give them a call.  I love that place and haven't been there in a few years.

The Rural King close to me had M2A1 cans for $13.48. Not sure if it's close to you, but I think there's a store in Elyria

Gun show.  Cheap.  No tax, no shipping.  It's where I get mine these days.

Like said rural king is the best price I have seen. I stopped going to whiteys he is way over priced on everything. The only thing I buy from him is my 550 cord he has a good price on that still.

I don't think there is a Rural King any where near me as I've never even heard of it.

I think the Berea show is coming up soon.  I was thinking of going to pick up some high quality 9mm like Winchester Ranger, I'll pick them up then.

What is a good price to pay for them at a gun show?  Looking for the .50cal cans I think

seems like the "going rate" these days are $20+ tax at retail (Gander Mtn., Dicks, Fin-Fur-Feather, Kames, Great Lakes Outdoor Supply)

anything less seems to be a bargain.

I'm still scrounging 50 cals on Craigslist.

when Pat's Reloading was over in Massillon, I'd drive over there at lunchtime from my job in Canton and pick a few up, but Pat has moved to central Ohio

back-in-the-day I remember pallets of them at most guns shows for $5 each

AARRGGH!

It's been a couple years but the last time I was at the CMP I picked up a bunch for $5 each.

Anybody know if they still have them for sale up there.
Been meaning to do another trip but I always hear inventory is slim.

Tomorrow is the Pop-Up shoot.  I'll check the CMP store while I'm there.

CMP store no longer has ammo cans.  The guy at the counter said they used to and they used to sell them for $5 but they haven't had any in years.
