Little something if you want to bring your own target.

I usually just bring one-by strips with me to the range and hammer them into the ground and staple a cardboard target to them. I found after trying to build my own target stands that this was pretty quick, cheap, and MUCH more portable than anything that I had come up with. I always like to see what people come up with for home built target holders though. I'm looking forward to checking this out... We're one week away!!! |

Need the wife and I to bring anything? Other than our whatnot with food and things.

Highs 76° / Lows 59° Isolated T-Storms CHANCE OF RAIN: 30% WIND: NW at 7 mph ------------ Planning on showing up in the morning but it may be a little later if things don't go exactly as planned. If not, hopefully I can share a spot on the line with somebody. |

I'll bring my canopy like last year. I might try to bring some weights for it too. Let me know if we need anything else. I will bring my drill bit to finish the holes in those targets too.

I have a few extra sets of ear plugs if anyone needs them.
Also, I have some barrels we could put water in to hold down tents if it gets too breezy. Anyone who needs directions, please send me an IM. I know there are a few who needed them and I will shoot my addy to them mid week. If anyone has a working cordless drill with a Phillips #2 bit, I have acquired some big blue work order boards (4x8) that are going to be re purposed as target boards. I want to remove the plywood from one side and replace it with OSB from another one. Saturday is coming up fast, look forward to seeing everyone then. |

I can't get out of work for that Saturday. Another group shoot, another one I've missed

If someone has a better drill, mine sucks. its only 12v. We will bring some chips or something to share. Other than that. Canopy, tables, and GUNS!!!!!

Everything is mowed except the backstop. I am hoping my dad can bring his boom mower over and hit it, otherwise, I'll have to use the weedeater on Friday. I will be in Denver until Thursday. The only reason Im worried about it is that I don't want someone to think the thing is higher than it is. The tall vegetation makes it look about 3 feet higher.

I found it on google maps because I forgot the actual address. I still think its funny there are people shooting at the mound on the satellite view!!
I am also putting this here since my post didn't get any traction. Anyone want to team up? |
|
Hey guys.
Picked up a front sight tool and 2 boxes of .22 Varmint HP's. 9.95 for 50 each at pro armaments. How ever they did not have a spanner wrench for the bolt on the stock that holds the piece in that holds the spring and pin that holds the recoil buffer in place. We have an AR that has one that needs to be tightened EDIT: ITS A CASTLE NUT. I'm just tired. Anyways, can someone bring a (spanner???) tool for it on Saturday? I would be grateful. |
|
I have the spanner wrench. It's a cheap one, I think an NCSTAR so maybe someone who has a decent one could throw it in their bag.

Safe1, I see the road is closed, is it north or south of your place? Or is it something we can get around?
|
|
Good point!
It's closed North of US 6,but south of me, anyone coming from the south can take the first road east Lenox-New Lyme rd, North to Footville Richmond Rd (little white church on S.E. corner with a VBS sign), shoot back west to 46. This way would add 2 miles for anyone coming for the Cleveland area, and nothing for someone coming from Rt11. There is a way to get here by coming up 45 but the road jogs and changes names in a couple places. If you use my address, which I'll send out tonight, your GPS should get you here if you come up 45 to Rock Creek. |

Any range issues with all the rain we have been having / might be getting before Sat.?
I have more chain for you as well |

I'm in Denver getting ready to jump on a plane back home. I doubt there will be any problems, we've been pretty dry. If I hadn't been helping a friend with field work on his farm, I'd have built up the backstop some more. |
|
Well looky here. I have the wrench you need AND I don't have my own AR anymore.....
SWAP MEET!!!! I think that is about all I would have for sale but I will see what else I can bring!
|
|
If anyone else needs directions let me know, I think I got them to all the newbies and one...hum...Engineer.

Greyguy,
I have a FEMA donated tent you and I are going to try to put up. It got blown around during Rita at a distribution center in MS. It got tweaked but should still be usable for shade. |

I want to thank everyone that helped push the new mag laws. I've been loading mags all week. It's AWESOME to be able to load them in advance and drive them to a shoot. More trigger time !!!

Mag laws?
Also, looking forward to it, will bring a canopy, to bad its a hour and a half drive....

His hands were still vibrating from the weedeater and he was having a hard time making a taco. We thought it would be interesting to see how you shot a pistol after an hour or so on the weed wacker in the morning. |

I should make it in a little after 10. We have to get some things done in the morning. I really look forward to these things.
I'm bringing my Scout Mosin and I recrowned my 1943 91/30. I can't wait to see how it shoots. My wife's Scout is staying home. |
