I don't usually expect an 8:00 AM Sunday morning a problem any place.  "Fortunately" SF has a strict handle on handgun crime.  At least we have an, uh, somewhat, uh, description.  Apparently they stated they will be upping security on Twin Peaks>  More, again?

I guess I missed this when it happened, maybe didn't get a lot of "press."  But San Fransisco never fails to amaze me.  http://sfpublicdefender.org/news/2016/10/man-who-disarmed-drunken-relative-acquitted-of-gun-charge/

It is difficult to fathom why this ever went to trial.  What the FUCK was the DA's office thinking?????

To me, it is more a matter of arresting the drunken relative and prosecuting that person rather than punishing "the good Samaritan".
