I did some reading and research on your current/upcoming gun laws but I'm still a bit confused.

You guys are a smart group and usually very aware of what's new/changing with laws surrounding firearms in the Golden State, so where better to ask?

Anyways, long story short I'm looking to sell (2) M4 stocks (no buffer tube assembly, no buffer, no springs, etc.) to a buyer in California.

Is it currently legal to posses such stocks with their ability to collapse/extend?

Not worth a couple extra bucks in my pocket and not worth the headache on his end if it's not currently allowed by law.

Perfectly legal to sell and ship to a CA resident.

Sure legal to ship and possess.  While they might be used to make a now illegally configured rifle, they might also be used as repair parts for legal registered firearms or for firearms that aren't afflicted by the laws applied to center-fire semi-automatic rifles.  So not a problem.
