I am a retired Police officer from Arizona.I qualified for a "Retired Law Enforcement Officer Certificate of Firearms Proficiency that is supposed to allow you to carry anywhere.Since I do travel to Californa mostly L.A. and sandiego as well as suburbs can I carry concealed without any trouble.

Anywhere anybody else can.  Although I believe the 10 round magazine exception applies.  My kid is an LEO in another state, he will be carrying when he visits.  Using my 10 round magazines.

The LEO CCW is recognized here, but all other laws still apply. In this case:



The assault weapon law: no pistol with threaded barrel, even if it has an accessory like a compensator/flash-hider on it. And no pistols that take a mag anywhere but the grip, like the Kriss Vector pistol or AR/AK pistols. Also no bayonet lug or front grip.



10-round mags are the limit.
