So I was watching Shooting USA's coverage of Shot Show 2015.  Can't remember which manufacturer it was but somebody now has a pump action AR in their lineup (for $2300).  I was wondering since its not semi auto, and its not a magazine tube, is their a max round count?

There is no semi-auto requirement - the magazine is a stand-alone crime.

Correction, the transfer of said magazine is a crime. Or the intent to transfer. You can have them all day, but use them in a semi-auto centerfire rifle and you're toast.
