Just wondering out loud...
The CRPA web page does not endorse either candidate. McDonnell did not return his questionnaire and Tanaka received a negative grade even though he apparently returned his questionnaire.
Based on that, the voter isn't left with an easy way to get advise from our political specialists. Like many others, I was left to take a peek at their respective web sites and election junk mail.
Does the fact that Tanaka's web site state his position on concealed carry is positive not give him some points compared to the silence of McDonnell's web site?
Is this race a little more clear to other Arfcom members? There must be some artifacts that support the negative report card for Tanaka, but does the choice between the two come to a balance of issues that are not on the web sites?
Who do we like and why?

With all the population in the LA County area, and all the resources the various interests have within the county, I find it sad that we can't force these guys to answer questions at face value or get a reading on these guys.
I'm not a single issue voter, but I do put a high value on how these parties and candidates answer basic questions that actually pertain to their job functions.
