8.5" Subsonic 300 Blackout SBR with suppressor.

It really is a shame I can't have it.

And I don't think I'll ever move out of CA, so...

How strong are suppressors and their mounts?

If someone grabbed onto the suppressor , in an attempt to disarm you, would it become misaligned?  If it was bent, would it still be safe to fire?  My impression is they are relatively thin sheet metal and require tight tolerances but have simple screw threading that would not survive a serious struggle.

I've never seen one in person or handled one.  This impression is based upon video viewing.  Can you address this issue based upon personal experience?

Beautiful gun, but that is a good point made by senor trollslayer. Never given that much thought since I'm born and raised in CA

They also heat up pretty quickly when in use. The key is to use the weapon before someone grabs onto the barrel. The suppressed military weapons I've shot were all rather solid.

The trick is, you cannot count on using it before they grab onto it.

In a serious weapon retention/disarming battle, you'll have two guys fighting for their lives to gain possession of that weapon.  The one who controls the outer ends will likely win due to leverage advantage.  I suspect the suppressor threading could fail/bend.  Then what?
