Just got threw to my parents in south westish Napa
Most thing in there home are on the floor .. cupboards dumped Furniture moved all over the place My dad was trapped in bed by the amah when it fell on him. Pool water was tossed out so hard it splashed on their back door (wood floor house)10" of water gone Garage door is buckled in half Power is out |

I'm about 50 miles SSE of the epicenter. Livermore valley. No damage here. It woke me up. Didn't wake the dog. It seemed like a relatively mild but long shake here. More like a lateral twisting motion. Felt like my house was rotating. Local news maps showed the range of the damage, it was somewhat localized to the epicenter.

We made it through pretty well, I'm in central Napa. Shit all over the house, no big deal, no one is hurt. 2 Harley's on the ground, not to happy with this. Fireplace is cracked, a little worried about that. 1 aftershock that I felt so far @ 0830

Seeing those masonry pics, won't make me feel better when visiting small towns in the East and South. You know, where the brick buildings are held up by Baptist faith and/or gravity.

Looks like we fared pretty well at the shop with the earthquake.
Some small stuff knocked around, but the only real damage is one of our rollup doors had it's track broken free of the building. Popped the anchors right out of the block wall. |

I worked at a market during the 71 quake. Our only injury was one of the Assistant Managers sliced his tongue up "cleaning" up the liquor section.
