I had read several months ago that S&W was going to let M&P 9 fall off CA roster, and just last night I had in inclination to check and noticed the expiration date was 8/16 (today) called around a few of my LGS' and found a place that hand one left so I promptly went there and purchased it... Just wondering if anyone who wanted one was able to get one? My understanding is that you can still buy them used, quite possibly at inflated rates. This Micro Stamping requirement is really kicking our ass herein CA.

I like the single stack... I really like mine, super thin and I shoot it just as well as my glock 19.  Perfect gun for carry, although I would like to try out a PPS.

Good call on getting a glock, I just started my ten day on another. |

Picked up my M&P 9 yesterday... I was starting to get a little nervous when they couldn't find it. 3 employees and 30 minutes later they finally found it... But lost the paperwork so I had to fill that out again. They made up for the inconvenience with several free range passes.
