My sister has a Shepherd/Chow mix female about 6 year old that we need to find a new home for. Nikita is a sweet, energetic dog that loves to play. She prefers the companionship of males and needs to be in a home where she is an only dog child. She is a good watch dog and has had some training. Nikita has been spayed and is up to date on her immunizations. My sister had surgery in March on her cervical spine, from C2-T1. She does not have the balance or strength to give Nikita the attention she needs. We brought Nikita into our home with my sister, but she doesn't get along with our small dogs so we have to keep them separate which is becoming a logistical problem. Nikita would make a great pet/companion for an active male. Attached File

Have you thought of contacting local rescue groups?  Explain the situation to them.  What part of FL are you located in?

Yes, we have contacted local rescue groups. But thanks for the suggestion. We're in the Jacksonville area.

PM the dogs particulars, I know people in rescue groups who might be able to help out.  One of them is in Georgia.

She is beautiful.  I wish I could take her, but we just don't have the space (and I don't think the cats would like her!!)  Best of luck with finding her a great home.
