Vacationing from Missouri, looking for good food, fun atmosphere for the family.

Any other must do stuff in the area?  Hidden treasures?

Thanks in advance

The Columbia is a classic and well known Spanish restaurant.

I enjoyed it with the Wife & Kids a few years back.

I'm sure the locals will chime in with other, maybe better choices.

I like Collage and Cellar 6.

Cellar 6 is little more lively and loud.

Collage is nice and quiet.

Columbia is good too.

St Augustine is great.  You will have a blast.

Fort is really cool. Kids loved the pirate museum.

Me and my wife like the Irish bar behind the Columbia. Good food, not crowded ,clean.

We normal hit the sea food place on the south side of the inlet bridge past fort matanzsas.(sp) can't recall the places name. Lol .

But places are not "fancy".....by any means

Very nice and very good food. You get what you pay for.

I repair commercial restaurant equipment for a living and Chef Jorge has one of the cleanest kitchens i've ever been in.  I saw the detail he put into his work almost 10 years ago while working there.  I have been eating there regularly since.  It is pricey but you get what you pay for.  There are always "specials" and thats usually what i get.

If you're still in the area, check out The Floridian. It's excellent. Caps in Vilano Beach is a good family spot too.

I enjoyed O.C. White's the last time I was there a couple of years back.

Don't you have to send visitors to O'Steen's? And tell them to take cash. Place is always packed.

I definitely second the Columbian. We go there frequently, everything is great there!

If anyone in your group likes magic, there's a small magic show every half hour or so at the Theater Magic Shop just down the street from the Columbian.

We do that every visit as well!

Walk around, get some ice cream.

It's a nice little town!
