Hey, got roped into going out there and was wondering if it was like the other parks, any detectors? Thanks.

No detection. But a coworker of my wife was approached by security and asked if he was carrying any weapons. The profiled him, so if asked say no. He said yes and was escorted off property by SO. For the last few years I havent gone to downtown disney ( now springs) without my gun and gear. It is a major soft target. The pulse shooter was planning to hit disney springs. He only started shooting at pulse cause he was about to get arrested and be busted as a gay man.

Yep, why I hate these places, or any place that thinks that I should be disarmed.

it's a glorified outdoor mall like waterford lakes.

if you print or wear tactical timmy clothing they will profile you and get an SO officer to speak with you.

Wear tourist clothes, don't look at security and you'll be fine. If they tell you to leave stop talking and leave immediately.

Wear one of those men rompers and no one will wanna come talk to you! Same rules apply there as anywhere. Keep your eyes up and head out your butt. They do have a few tastey treats there if you need to grab a bite. The cuban sandwich from Bongos walk up window is good, the poutine booth and hotdog/sausage dog booth are lil gems. The food is horrible at T rex, but my 4yo loves dinos so its always a must stop place.

I was there a couple months ago and didn't experience any of the issues mentioned above.

I rarely wear tactical Timmy stuff when I'm out and about. Especially in a place like that.

It really is a death funnel as someone else mentioned. I wasn't going there unarmed.

So I went, saw, and carried. Nothing fancy, not sure how others have been called out. Maybes they wore molle from head to toe while sporting a NRA shirt and with a Trump hat and combat boots
