I thought they tried this last year and the replies in the thread thought the prices were too high.
Apparently they must have done well as this is their 2nd year IIRC. |

Our last event we hosted at Manatee had 140 shooters. Each shooter paid $100 each and that included ammo and Carraba's catering. Also every entry got a raffle ticket for our rifle giveaway. The event lasted 5 hours and every paid entrant had about 5 runs on the gun of their choice. We had about 13 machine guns to choose from. AR's, AK's, Glocks...
We will be hosting another event at Manatee within the next few months with a 100 shooter cap and price will be around $125 each. Keep an eye out in our industry forum for exact date! |

I really should start selling mags to shooters at the range for my MGs. I could pay them off in a year at some of the prices listed for these shoots.
$40 for a mag out of an MP5? I'd be rich... |

Zero appeal to me.
Full auto just seems like a way to burn a lot of expensive ammo while reducing you accuracy to me. Then again, I shot a lot of full auto stuff when I was young and uncle paid the bill, and I've had plenty of other opportunities to blast them. I'm all about the accuracy. Of course, if we ever got rid of the Hughes Amendment, I would convert my Suomi, just for historical accuracy....
