Without going into details, (families privacy), we lost a member here last week.  We know him as Lockup239.  Please say prayers for his family.

R.I.P. My friend

Thanks for the call today, Campy.  Sorry we didn't have more time to catch up.

I met CM ("lockup") when he came to install a safe in my home.  Needless to say I had a few firearms sitting out since I had sold my smaller safe, and we got to talking shop before long.  I mentioned I knew some great local guys who got together to shoot every month or two, and pressed him to come out and join us.  We kept in touch, and finally he came out to one of our Shoot Straight events and dinner afterwards.  he shot my M16 and MP5 and was hooked.  Soon afterwards he bought his first AR from Shoot Straight in Fort Myers, and it was fun to see him go through the journey.

He was a great guy with a toddler and a wife.  I wish I had kept in touch a little better.  Godspeed brother.  You had an impact on those around you, and will be missed.

BlackFox, no problem.  Work is a priority, I'm the same way.  I digress though.  I'm glad you pressed him to come meet us and glad to have known him and watch him grow into our family.

I think i may have met him once on one of our outings, I'm not sure. Either way that is very sad. Prayers out to his family.

Chuck was a great guy, and will be missed.  I know some of you are probably trying to figure out who he was.  Here are some pictures.  He was a firefighter with the Central Nyack Fire Department, and hard worker at his locksmith job with Koons Locksmiths in Fort Myers. He's on the far right in the first picture, and at home in the second.  Let's put a face to our lost brother.
