Not shilling anything. Went to a gun store yesterday in Rockledge. I was amazed that complete ARs are going the sub 500 range.

It is interesting that the prices on ARs are going back the prices from early 80s.

I wish more firearms have some price like that .

It's been like this for the past year, now are the days people will be talking about 5 years from now, buy cheap and stack deep

I don't think many people buy complete ARs anymore. I couldn't find the stripped upper I wanted in stock anywhere I looked a few days ago.

I've seen a lot of these on the market lately.  I think its due to the success of the smith MP sport

Seems everyone is offering a bargain sku AR now.    IMO a lot of them seem iffy.  Especially when you can get some nice quality AR15s now for a hundred or two more.

Exactly.

I've maxed out my AMEX on AR lowers, magazines, and ammo. 16% interest on ~$20,000 for 9 months will easily be recouped when 5.56mm is going for $1/ea again.

And if prices don't go up, that means Hillary wasn't elected and we are safe from tyranny for a few years. If Bernie is elected, he'll erase all the debt and send us into socialism. I cannot lose.

Well,  I certainly would never go into debt on guns....
I have some stock to sell if the prices do go up, but I don't see the need to have 7, 10, 15 of them.
Prices are low because the market is saturated, every gun maker now has some sort of low end AR, & all the hoarders have been abated for now.
Now Ammo...that is where you need to spend $ I think.  It's going to be much easier to try to limit, or tax ammo then AR's in the next few years. I think that is where the anti's are going to try to hit.

I wish AK's would go back to the old prices...weird to see AR's cheaper than AK's now.

Never thought of that--not an AK guy--but it's interesting.
