here in Gainesville, we have gotten over 8 inches of rain since Wednesday.  More on the way today.  First time I have seen such flooding in my neighborhood, and even 43rd Street was blocked off.
Any other folks getting this heavy rainfall?

It's bad in Lutz.  Flooding on at least 4 roads I use almost daily.  I had to dig a trench to the pond to alleviate front yard flooding coming from the road.  I hope the next few days isn't as bad as the pond is the highest I've seen it since the 80's.

We had some light rain yesterday... on and off here in north Lake county. I was expecting a lot more. No rain as I type this...

I'm out in Williston and it's the same here. Getting hammered. Hell I bet we got 2-3" today alone.

Here in SWFL the forecast was remnants of the "alleged" storm would be coming from the SW. As of now the rain has been negligible.

I had to update an old boundary survey on a 3000 acre parcel I did a few years ago, in June.

Today, the back 1500 acres were submerged & I had to finish the last two square miles on foot.

I really hate this time of year.

When water is covering one lane of 441 across Paynes Prairie, I'll know we've had enough I've got standing water and I live on a hill/ridge. 95 feet of elevation change from the front property line to the back property line, a little over 1000' distance. I've got a clay & white sand vein that is around 60" below the surface on the peak. I can dig a post hole and it will fill with water so fast that I can't dig it any deeper. Gave up years ago and went with steel posts, except for the brace posts. Then again, I've had it so dry that I've had to put water in the post holes to get the dirt out because the chopsticks couldn't hold the dry sand. Still rather be sloshing than burning.

Pinellas county here.  Seems like it's been raining all summer non-stop.  I got so tired of not going out on the boat fishing or anything that we just go out and know we're getting wet now.  Hey, it's a warm rain

Yep, just called the Marina and told them to stick it in the water.  Picking up Junior from school and head out for some night fishing.  Looks like a lot of lightning over the weekend.  Tonight may be our only shot.

Yep! The lake at our fishcamp in Salt Sp. was at the highest level we have seen in 3.5 years when we were up there last weekend.

A new rainfall record for our place in S Tampa too. Over 50" in June, July and August combined, we had over 7" in one 5 hour period. It was a lake down here. Lots of dumbasses lost their minds and thought their cars were boats. Idiots. No wonder our premiums are so high.

Standing water here in Sanford; were saturated. If it can't run off, it just sits there.

I just got called out to do a quick survey of a recently developed site that boarders a ramp connecting the Turnpike to I-4.

If we get much more rain, the groundwater's gonna be in the road...not good.

Looks like rotation to me. Depression forming?

There will certainly be a depression forming if it doesn't quit raining by Saturday!

I don't think I can tolerate another day off cooped up in the house.

El Nino, I feel we are going to have a cool winter also. Fronts have been pushing

through earlier than normal.
