Drove the Uhaul down last week. Quite the change from Fairbanks/Wasilla, AK, this summer's forecast is Schweaty Balls... We are only here for a 6-7 months while the wife is in EOD school so we just got a house on base. Next project, find a temp job.

Stopped by Destin Guns this morning just to look around, what other shops and ranges are around here?

Heh, I also did the AK/FL transition.

Though my order was FL -> AK -> AZ -> FL. Hit all the temp/humidity extremes.

That is a great list AR-4C...

Jay's Guns also has a store in Crestview and another in Pensacola; they have a great gunsmith named Phil if you need any work done.

Patriot Arms is run by a very .mil friendly guy named Nick; not much is in stock in the way of firearms but he has cases, cleaning supplies, etc. Nick can special order anything at a very competitive price and has the cheapest rate around for FFL transfers with a .mil ID card.

just don't shoot at their range if you want to keep your brass, first time I ever went shooting there I was told once the brass hits the ground it's no longer yours.
