Good luck.  I wish they posted how many weren't claimed from round 1.

They do make it available. It can be seen after you log in to your account. Just gotta' play around with it to find it under the permit availability tab near the top (in the black stripe). Then scroll down to Statewide Alligator. It's not the most user friendly system but it is there. Here's a few of the ones that were left that I asked for in Round 2:

Istapoga 1091 - 1
Istapoga 1092 - 5
Istapoga 1093 - 3
Istapoga 1094 - 4

Kenansville 5451 - 2
Kenansville 5452 - 1
Kenansville 5453 - 2
Kenansville 5454 - 1

Kississimee River 1061 - 3
Kississimee River 1062 - 4
Kississimee River 1063 - 7
Kississimee River 1064 - 4

That's what's available for round 2, or the total available for the whole lottery?

Those numbers are what's unclaimed, so far. They have stats on total permits available as well.

Of the approximately 25 of my friends that put in, 3 were awarded tags. Seems like a suspiciously low percentage, given how few people are into this sort of thing.

I want to know how many tags are awarded to out-of-state hunters.....

Wish they made this exclusive to FL residents, or jack up out of state tags to $3k.

I was lucky and got drawn.  STA 1.  The place is like gator farm.  Last time we were there had two 9.5 footers in 3 hours.

Never been gator hunting, and my it seems my area (St. Johns county) has plenty of permits to get.

8581-8584

Looks like about 100 left here.

First timer here. one tricky thing I have noticed is that although an area may have lots of permits issued, the number of gators bagged is low. See this webpage for what I am talking about (2002-2012):

http://alligator-hunting-equipment.com/floridacountysummary.html

compare the numbers bagged vs permits issued yearly.

WOW....FWC jabbed me for round 3. I realize that by entering a credit card number I would be charged for permits if my wife or I was successful. I used my debit card figuring I didn't want a credit card bill. I didn't realize the they would pre-authorize the amount of each entry against my debit card (checking account). Today I got hit for $282 five times and $64 also five times (wife got picked in round 1) and they haven't posted results yet (1955 hours). I guess my 1st world problems continue.........
