Some of you have seen it at some ARFCOM shoots. It was getting tired but did serve us

well for 9 years. In less than 2.5 years it towed our travel trailers to 24 outings including

a trip to stone mountain. It was a pain in the rear to load the Kayaks on top of it.

Yesterday we replaced it with a 2015 Ram 2500. This is the nicest vehicle I have ever owed

and I am thankful and feel blessed to be able to buy it. I am going to add Thule adjustable racks

on it to carry the Kayaks. Should be much easier to load than the Armada was.

Nice truck. It will tow that camper like it's not even there.

The Travel trailer weighs around 6000# loaded. The 1/2 tons are rated for 9000 to 10000

in a perfect world. This truck will tow 17000 so I feel that it was worth the extra cost and

will last much longer.

We may upgrade the TT in 5 to 6 years. The new truck is prepped for a 5th wheel if we

decide to go that way. I still have my Jeep and the Wife has her Mini so this will only be driven

a couple times a week and then used to tow the TT on our trips that we go on about

once a month.

This will very likely be the last truck we buy.

Thanks, but I do not want to deprive Monkeywrench of his duty.

I am curious what it will do in the 1/4.

Add a Load Leash jake brake if you do. Not that electric trailer brakes cant handle the load, but I'd find any excuse to have one. Its the only medium class jake available. I wish there was space to engineer one for 7.3's.

Nice truck

I will give it a try once I get some miles on it. I am at a whopping 130 miles right now.
