Quoted: Where can I find more information on this? View Quote It is a friendly and safe time. Bring 20.00 per person, guns, ammo, tanerite, targets etc and have a good time. they usually have cardboard and stakes but they can go fast so it does not hurt to bring your own. I recommend folding chairs, cooler with drinks, they will have grill if you want grill some food. |

Slightly off topic, but I'd like to try this range after church today. How are the targets set up at this range? I've been to Knight's Trail Park lots of times so I have my cardboard squares and lots of my own targets. I keep a stapler and tape in the range bag is there anything else I will need to be able to put up targets at this particular shooting range? I'm mostly interested in the rifle ranges if that matters. Also, just to make sure, I can use this range before I become a member it just costs more correct? I was a member a couple years ago but then work got nuts and I never actually got to go a single time.

Probably not, as long as your cardboard backers are the same size, which most likely they are. Metal target frames are provided by the range. I'm mostly interested in the rifle ranges if that matters. Also, just to make sure, I can use this range before I become a member it just costs more correct? That's correct, non-members are welcome. A quick update on the rules.
There will be NO uncasing or seting up of firearms during a Cold range. All loaned out machine guns will be supervised by the owner. Anything deemed unsafe by the organisers or the RO will not be allowed. Please use chamber flags in all firearms....they are available for a buck each at the range office. Fire extinguishers are fine as long as your rounds pass completely thru them. Same goes for computers etc. Plan on cleaning up your targets when you are done. Hope to see you guys...and girls....On the 23rd. Mick and dave. |
