It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn of the Grand jury decision triggering random acts of violence against unsuspecting people with no connection to the events in Ferguson.
I'm paying extra attention to my surroundings. |

I'm in Ponte Vedra. There's a better chance of the the locals rioting if the local country club runs out of Gin and Champagne after the announcement when we're all watching it unfold on TV. There won't be anything within 15 miles of me at least

I say bring it on! I hate those worthless FSA thugs.... ETA, Thinking of dropping by the demonstration at FU Arock plaza in West Hartford, Ct. Yeah, it is on the list, just look for it.... |

Guess I need to pack some reloads in my lunch box. I live in Miami and work in some very "urban" neighborhoods on almost a daily basis. I drive a 100 Ton crane so it's not like I can step on the throttle and make a quick getaway.

Let them come, rioting in the ghetto with your demographic is one thing, when it spills out into more affluent places where folks value security and common courtesy from their neighbors it won't go well for them, one or two AR-15's will cut down an unruly mob in no time at all. I'm not worried at all.

I live in Miami and work right by Jackson Memorial common sense would dictate that they would wait until gridlock is over and people can get home safe but I highly doubt that will be the case here. The news media love sensationalism and they will make a show out of this. Stay out of the hood and stay safe out there my part of town is pretty safe but I will be keeping an eye on the security cameras tonight.

They put off the announcement until 9 PM and have used that extra time to station the national guard in Ferguson.
I'm guessing that's because Officer Wilson has been no billed by the grand jury. We'll soon know. |

Governor has claimed that the White House called Gov. Nixon and threatened him not to deploy the guard as planned and the governor caved in to the pressure. Since the guard hadn't been nationalized, Nixon should have gone ahead and deployed the guard to protect lives and property. |

Now that could have lead more people to the streets, but I doubt they wanted kids trapped at school and across town if something had happened earlier. |
