I will finally be moving to the area in the next month or two! I have been wanting to make this move for years now and have been argueing with myself whether or not to do this. I'm not happy here in Iowa and I still think there is more opportunity for me in Florida rather then Iowa. I will be moving to the daytona / ormond beach area and have spent half of my time down there with relatives that live there full-time so I already know a lot about the area. Now all I need to do is find some work and everything will be perfect! Sorry for this pointless post I'm just super excited about this move and everything that comes with it. Any locals feel free to comment say hey or whatever.

Yeah I will be checking on both of them. Like ya said better land some full time work first Lol. Lauderdale huh? Spent two weeks at beach combers down there. I love those beaches and the clear water and shells and everything it was a great trip. But ormond area is what I know and is where my family is at so that's where ill be. I just hope I can find a decent job its going to be hard converting to the city life but I'm hoping I can find something in the rural areas as that might be a better fit for me. Well we will see. Either way I think its time for change.

Whats DAB? I'm trying to come up with some good questions and I know I will have some soon... just mostly worried about employment at this point and finding new friends and a woman Haha.

Really?? I have spent plenty of time in the area and I know the bad and good parts. I hate to say it but news flash bud... do you watch the news at all? Society sucks everywhere...its part of life. Every town has their fair share of problems. Now I know Daytona isnt the best choice and well Im not exactly going to be in Daytona. But my family is in that area and thats where I'll be. On a side note, the job offer I recieved sounds like he wants me to wait till the first of the year to start so it might be a little longer before I get down there . But, then again, who knows I might just find a different job. Anyone in the area do a lot of fishing down there? Our house is right on the intercoastal and I love fishing off the pier and in the surf so hopefully I can find some fishing buddies.

Thanks for the well wishes. Yeah I will probably be going every weekend or every other like ya say. How busy is it usually? Hopefully not too many unsafe idiots? I think when I finally get everything a little more settled I will be looking to rent / rent to own / buy a house in the rural part of Flagler county somewhere. I really like the southern oaks and spanish moss and to me that looks like the acreage of my dreams haha. Also, it wouldnt be 10 ft or less to my neighbor like most of the houses in town. Anyone down for taking this guy out fishing a lot more when I get down there? Anyone have any connections to a rural type job down there?
