Hi Guys,

Coming up to annual vacation in Orlando, and would like to pick up some stuff to take home when I'm there.

I'm specifically after a 12" FF handguard, a good AR15 multi-wrench and maybe a detachable NM sight.

I generally visit Bass Pro and Gander Mountain, but are there any stores in the Orlando area that you would care to recommend?

thanks in advance

I like East Orange Shooting Sports as well, but they don't keep large quantities in stock, so they sometimes sell out of AR accessories temporarily.

Real nice folks, too.

Last time I was in there, they had PMAGS marked at $30! Not sure if this was an error on their part or what...

That being said, they will do NFA transfers for $75.

There prices are hit or miss with accesories. I have got some good deals on guns though. When I lived there I would give them as much business as I could. Great people. Plus right before I moved they opened up a 25yd indoor rifle range in addition to their pistol range.

ETA: I did buy my first AR from them

They're just really nice in there, and I try to do business with them whenever I can just based on that. I bought my P238 from them a few months ago. Now the same gun with a trigger guard laser is in their case at that same price. Not their fault, though. I know Sig does that sort of thing sometimes.

Hi guys,

Just made it back to the UK today, thanks for the information you shared on AR15 friendly shops.

Feel I have to make special mention of East Orange Shooting Sports, they had almost everything I wanted, (well that I could legally buy anyway), and what they didn't have in stock they ordered for me to pick up later in my vacation, all at very keen prices.

As I've come to expect in Florida, excellent levels of service, knowledgeable staff and tourist friendly.

EOSS has by far the friendliest employees I've ever found at any gun store, and above most other retail establishments, as well.

Seems like an innocent question to make conversation but of course arfcom immediately blades and does a mag dump. - Colonel_Angus
