One family has lost its second son in the war. #1 Navy Seal, #2 Special Forces. Full story Benjamin Wise served honorably as a US Army Green Beret. While operating in Northern Afghanistan with the US Army 1st Group, 3rd Battalion, Alpha Company, on Tuesday January 10th, 2012, Ben was struck by 6 bullets in both legs and received critical wounding to his abdomen as several rounds ricocheted into his upper torso. His kidneys sustained great trauma from the duress of the injuries and he showed signs of danger to his brain health from rising blood toxicity. The surgeons tried to save his legs but were forced to amputate both of them to save his life. Ben was put on life support but passed into Eternity early on the morning of January 15, 2012. Ben is survived by his wife Traci, his three children, his Mother Mary, Father Jean , and his sister Heather. Ben also has an older brother, Jeremy, who served honorably as a Navy SEAL, and was killed protecting an CIA outpost in Afghanistan, in 2009 as a civilian contractor. Ben has a younger brother who is still active in the US Marine Corps. We all salute them and their family for their service and sacrifice to the United States of America. We owe them a great debt of gratitude, and have established the Wise Family Benefit Fund and Hotline as a token of our American appreciation and to facilitate supporting and encouraging them. Please make any financial contributions out to: Wise Family Benefit Fund All cards letters and condolences can be addressed to : Wise Family Benefit Fund Attn: (Person's Name) PO Box 3428 Virginia Beach, VA 23454 All funds will go to the assistance of the Ben Wise family in this difficult time. Ben leaves behind a wife and 3 children. ********** all gone to the following. This post for feedback. JesseCJC hawzwood former_usmc |
