This gun is almost brand new - got it sighted in and that was about it. Now I've moved and need to liquidate some toys.

The only thing different about this RUC from how Rainier normally does them is that I wanted the round (HK-esque) Diamdond Head sights instead of the diamond shaped. That was a $60 upgrade from Rainier. Barrel on this one is the pencil profile, manufactured for Rainier by Daniel Defense - VERY accurate barrel. This was one of the first 100 units, shipped with a Geissele SSA trigger.

This rifle handles and shoots awesome - super light weight, but low muzzle rise...extremely accurate (so accurate I had to put a 10x scope on it just to see how good I could do at 50 yards - groups were under 1" with XM193 and I'm not that great). The barrel tended to cool off unbelievably fast, some of which I think is due to built-in heatsink under the handguard. I thought it sounded like a gimmick, but this gun is a more consistent shooter than most light profile barreled ARs. Since a cooler barrel is a stiffer barrel, I think that also might explain why it was just as accurate as my custom AR with a 14.5" Noveske N4 barrel.

Anyways, this rifle gets rave reviews from me - unfortunately, I need to raise some cash and my other AR's are full custom builds and I'd lose a fortune selling those.

Very little wear - the only wear I know of is very slight, on the rail where I tried a number of different optics before deciding to mount an EOTech. If you're big on minute details, and you're serious about buying, let me know and I'll throw the gun in my photo studio.


Comes in original box with everything it came with new. The only thing in the photo not included is the forward grip, the EOTech and the PMAG with the window (will include the black PMAG it came with). EOTech is already sitting on a rifle - not for sale.
