THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I bought it new from a local dealer. Showed it to a friend who told me that the man who originally assembled this particular piece at Pastucek Industries in Ft Worth was now working for him and I should meet the guy. I did meet the gentleman, named D.F., who confirmed it was one that he assembled, and was early production, and was going to have problems, which he identified as common to all the early units. He went on to say that he had all the correct, late production, factory, heat treated parts and would I like to have it re-done properly. Of course I did. 2 weeks later I got this thing back, with new heat treated trigger parts, hammer, sear, firing pin, disconnector, extractor and ejector. A new barrel retention spring and latch was fitted, firting pin hole chamfered at the rear, chamber(s) checked for proper tolerance. D.F. said this thing would now run pretty much forever without problem. He also fitted an extra barrel with sight and scope mount, along with 2 removable barrel weights. Along with that he hand fitted 5 extra factory magazines to this pistol and test fired each one with both barrels. D.F. sucummed to a massive coronary 2 weeks after finishing this pistol. Last Mitchell High Standard he ever worked on. SO; Mitchell Citation II 22 cal pistol $425.00 5 1/2 inch heavy barrel with sight 7 1/2 inch heavy barrel with sight $250.00 Scope mount $45.00 2 each removable barrel weights $50.00 total of 6 factory 10 round magazines $500.00 (5) Rework cost $200.00 Left grip autographed on the inside by D.F. and dated at time of overhaul. $850.00 shipped ffl to ffl conus. Will not part this. Trades?
